About Emerald Bay Cruise Tahoe
This site is an independent guide to Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe and a comparison of the cruises that sail into it: the paddle-wheeler from Zephyr Cove, the yachts from South Lake Tahoe, wine and sunset cruises, dinner cruises and private boats for small groups. We do not operate or personally conduct these cruises. The full line-up sits in the Emerald Bay cruise catalog.
Why It Exists
Most Emerald Bay cruises look alike on a booking page: two hours, the bay, Fannette Island and Vikingsholm. They differ in what matters on the day: which dock you leave from, how big the boat is, whether food and drinks are included, whether there is a parking fee and how many people share the deck.
Those are the columns of the comparison here, read off each listing.
Where the Figures Come From
Cruise prices, ratings, review counts and inclusions come from the listing on the platform that sells each cruise. Facts about the bay, the lake and the boating rules come from California State Parks, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the other official sources linked on each page.
When two sources disagree, the page gives both or leaves the figure out.
What You Will Not Find
There is no invented captain or local expert behind these pages, and no claim that anyone from the site joined a cruise. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. Schedules and fees that no source publishes are not printed.
How the Site Is Paid For
The booking buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and your price does not change. No operator pays for a place, a badge or the pick.
The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
